What’s in store for 2026?
Vinyl

Early Vinyl Designs from Josh Row Design
In 2026, I’ll be announcing the first 9 mozworth songs will be available on vinyl! The mozworth EP will become the mozworth LP.
Interested in other physical media like CDs and tapes? Let me know.
The Next Release
Just like last year, we are planning to release another Daniel Johnston cover on January 22nd (Daniel’s bday). The song this year is “Story of an Artist”. This is a song that has always spoke to me from Daniel’s collection. There is a lot of pain in this song. It cuts deep.
The Next Album
We are about 6 songs into the next mozworth album. We’ll be announcing more details, but we are planning on completing this in 2026. This new effort has provided the band a chance to step back, with our new drummer Mike, and evolve the sound. Imagine everything from the meditative “The Observer”, to the surf inspired “Queen of the Ocean”, to the wall of sound songs like “Sandpiper” pushed and stretched into new exciting territories. The band is not only shaping the material, the material is shaping the band.
If you’re around the Austin area in 2026, we will be working this material on stage.
